"Body positivity and body neutrality are on a scale – we might move between both, or we might land more naturally on one, than the other – and this is okay, really it’s about what works best for you.

Body positivity is acceptance of all body types, embracing and loving our body, rejecting diet culture, and having a positive body image no matter whether we fit society's ideals.

Body neutrality is moving away from a belief system that our body equals our worth and instead being more accepting of it. When we are more accepting of our body, and don’t place so much pressure on ourselves for how it looks and meeting ourselves with compassion, we can access improved results in things like body image.

When we’re not caught up in how our body looks and seeing our body as an improvement project, we can connect to what’s important to us and enjoy our bodies for their function. For example, we find movement as a way of connecting with the joy of dance and movement, rather than trying to change our body.

Methodology
1. Study Objectives
The primary aim of this study was to evaluate the performance and user satisfaction of perfect legs body butter over a 28-day period. Specific objectives included:

- Assessing user satisfaction with the product after first use and over time.
- Measuring overall user perceptions, including texture, application ease, and visual results.

2. Study Design
Type of Study: Quantitative user study with self-assessment questionnaires.
Duration: 28 days.
Product Use Protocol: Participants applied the product once daily to the target area as per provided instructions.
Sample Size: 77 participants.
Assessment Points: Participants completed self-assessment questionnaires at four intervals: after the first use, after 7 days, after 14 days, and after 28 days.
Participants: Women aged between 18 and 55+.
Data Analysis: Results from the self-assessment questionnaires were collected and analysed by an independent statistician.

3. Blinding Procedure
To maintain objectivity, the product was provided in lab sample containers without brand identifiers or final packaging. Participants were informed only that they were testing a body moisturiser.

Our Functional Fragrances are tested against a placebo and measured in clinical studies using fMRI (functional magnetic resonance imaging) and ECG (electrocardiogram). Our Functional Fragrances can be seen as having additional physiological benefits, due to interaction with the limbic system, which in turn can stimulate the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. As part of a programme to understand how different aromas can stimulate different emotional responses, This Works, in collaboration with Professor Gaby Badre, identified a library of Functional Fragrances shown to have a relationship with emotions, such as joy (Perfect), relaxation and reward (Love Sleep), alertness (Morning Expert) and stress reduction (Stress Check).

Our Perfect Functional Fragrance has been clinically tested using fMRI brain imaging, which indicated the fragrance activated areas of the brain associated with reward, memory and emotion*.
